Canoeing Bivvying is a great way to experience the Wye Valley and is an opportunity not to be missed, if you are unsure what this is then it’s the traditional form of canoe expedition camping using your canoe and a tarp or basha, we provide all the equipment you need and have a great private location.
Your weekend starts at Hoarwithy where you will meet your experienced river guide and other members of your group before setting out for a wonderful morning of paddling and lunch at Ross on Wye then onto your overnight bivvy site near Goodrich Castle where you can experience the relaxation of canoe camping, then on day two it’s off through the rapids here at Symonds Yat and off down to Monmouth to complete the trip.
We are based at the heart of the Wye Valley in the beautiful Symonds Yat so we are in the perfect location to take advantage of this amazing area. If Canoe Bivvying sounds great but you are feeling a little more Ray Mears then maybe try our Canoeing and Bushcraft Weekends.
Call us for more information on 01600 890027 or to book onto our next date which is the 16/17 July 2016 for only £120 per person.
