Cancellations made by the customer within 7 days of the first day of hire but more than 48 hours before their trip/event a charge of 50% of the hire charge will be levied or rescheduled, If cancellation is made within 48 hours of the start of the booking then the hire costs will be charged in full.
Cancellations made by the customer within 7 days of booking may be rescheduled but no refund will be given, voucher holder cancellations made within 48 hours of the start of the booking the voucher will be no longer valid and cannot be reused. - Cancellation by the Company due to safety, adverse river levels / extreme weather conditions or events outside their control, re-arrangement of the booking will be attempted for a later date, for trips where deposits/payments are taken before 14th April 2026 a 2 year transferable gift voucher issued or indefinite postponement or a refund (Refunds will be processed within 28 days of date of activity) will apply. For trips where deposits are taken on or after 14th April 2026 an indefinite postponement of the trip or a 2 year transferable Gift Voucher will be issued.
- Wye Canoes Ltd reserves the right to terminate your hire agreement without reason or refund.

Once you have made a booking through the site, we will retain your contact information so we can keep you up to date about your activity. We will also keep accounts records in line with HMRC requirements.

We only use the data we have stored to allow us to communicate with you regarding your booking. We are committed to the security of your data and will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless required to so by law, or with your express permission to do so.
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information that we gather. Access to our servers is restricted to dedicated locations and all passwords are strongly encrypted using modern encryption algorithms.
Can I request my data be deleted
You certainly can, just drop us an email or give us a call . Please be aware though that if you are one of our customers, then we are required by law to retain invoicing data about you for 7 years and cannot delete this data until that time has passed.
Do you use cookies?
We currently only use cookies to track if you have logged into our site and anonymous usage data. These cookies store no personal data, only a reference to your account (stored in our database).
In the future we may add more complicated user tracking that would require setting cookies that track how you interact with this site. If we add this feature we will update this page and add suitable notifications to the site.
